Arasix Timetable and Duty Planner: Free Class Schedule and Duty Roster Software for Schools
Every new term brings the same questions: how do you build a clash-free timetable, and how do you share duties fairly among teachers? To save you hours of paper, pencil and spreadsheets, we built Arasix Timetable and Duty Planner and are offering it to schools free of charge .
What can you do with it?
Timetable
Easy placement: Place lessons on the grid with a click; move with the arrow keys, copy with C, paste with V and delete with Delete.
Automatic distribution: Enter teachers and lesson hours, and the app spreads the lessons across the week for you, respecting the lunch break.
Clash protection: A teacher can never be assigned to two classes at the same hour; the app blocks it before saving.
Co-taught lessons: Lessons taught by two teachers together are supported.
Rule checks and smart repair: Lists problems in the timetable and suggests one-click fixes.
Printing: Print class and teacher timetables or the full master sheet directly.
Duty roster
Duty areas: Define your own duty areas such as the schoolyard, corridors or floors.
Fair distribution: Weekly duties are balanced across teachers, taking past duties into account.
Printing and Excel: Print the weekly roster in A4 landscape or download it as a CSV file that opens in Excel.
More features
Multiple schools: Manage several schools separately on the same computer.
Change history: See who changed what, and when.
Automatic backups: Your data is backed up regularly.
Automatic updates: New versions install from inside the app with one click.
Light and dark themes: A modern interface that is easy on the eyes.
Your data stays with you
The app runs entirely on your computer ; teacher names, timetables and duty rosters are never sent to any server. The internet is used only to check for updates and to let Arasix know your school's name during setup.
